My Mini Nine-Patch, 1999
Statistics
This quilt has almost 15,000 pieces in it.
It was machine pieced between 1989 and 1999. These dates and my initials are pieced into three corners of the quilt.
All the quilting was done in 1999, between Feb. and Oct.
The flower pattern in the border is a Wood Violet, the Wisconsin State Flower.
It has 3,000 yards of Mettler Machine Quilting thread in it.
I spent 67 hours on the machine quilting.
I quilted it on my Pfaff 7570.
It has a Quilter's Dream Cotton batt.
It took up 5" in the quilting.
I'd like to thank the members of the Mad City Quilters Guild of Madison, WI, especially those in the UFO Club, for their continued support of this project.
