Here are the list of classes being offered for 2010

Rules of the School:

All classes held at 4625 Tokay Blvd, Madison, WI
No class will run with less than 4 people.
Class maximum is 6.
Classes must reach the minimum number one week before the class starts or the school will cancel the class and refund the registration money.
No refunds if student cancels 10 days or less before class starts. So choose wisely.

RUST DYEING

Lois will share with you everything she knows about rust dyeing. Not only does the price of the class include a kit that has EVERYTHING you need to create the "Trees" fabric shown here, but Lois will show you all the other techniques on her world wide selling Rust-Tex Instructional CD.

GARDEN GATE PAINTING CLASS

Want to learn how to paint on fabric? Take this class from Lois and she will teach you everything she knows about paint fabric which is quite a lot! Price includes lunch, unpainted panel, and paints.

Using fabric paints you can turn the screen printed garden gate above into a beautiful garden like the one pictured below. 

KATAZOME CLASS

Karen Miller, renowned katazome expert, from Corvallis, OR, will be the guest teacher for this class. Katazome is Japanese stencil dyeing. This class will not be held at 4625 Tokay Blvd, but at a location to be announced. Karen will provide cutting mats, pasting mats, fabric, all the dyes, brushes, stencil paper, dry soybeans, plus some of her own stencils for people to use. You will need an inexpensive wooden 20" stretcher frame with the biggest metal binder clips possible, rubber gloves, a 3" stack of old newspaper, a #11 Exacto knife, an a fine mist spray bottle.
There will only be 12 students in this class.
